Do you just visit your friends? Or do you share life together?
One of the gifts our lifestyle as full-time traveling nomads has brought into our lives. Is that we from time to time move in together with our friends.
I love this way of being together, going from just visiting to sharing life.
You go from being able to "keep up your facade" for 3-4 hours an afternoon to waking up in the same house, sharing tjhat life has its ups and downs, you see each other's good sides as well as bad sides and soft sides, and the sides where we can go in and help each other.
People are not supposed to be living alone in small apartments hiding our, insecurities and pain. We need to share love, laughter, pain, and food.
Together we are stronger and will be able to help each other grow.
To move in with friends is also to get a big mirror put in front of you. Your flaws are visible, as well as your strengths.
We have even tried to move in with strangers who invited us to drop by. And have also in our own life welcomed "strangers" to live together with us.
Life is a gift, and it is meant to be shared.
It is like sunsets; they are just so much better when you have someone to enjoy them together with you.
Here our van is parked outside our dear homeschool friends' get-a-way place, and we are surrounded by nature and wake up to the most beautiful view, dears running across the fields. And small hares and pheasants searching for food.
Life is good.
